The store is two stories tall with a large WEAPONS sign hanging in the front. Its made of brick painted grey and seconds as Kotaro's house. There is storage rooms and a smithee in the back as well as a training area outside. Weapons are shown for display on the wall and custom order sheets are found on the counter.
Kotaro was reading a small book he had bought the other day on alchemy. The day had been slow and he had no appointments today with any contacts. No custom orders needed created and he had the shop to himself. "Just another casual day." He said flipping the page.

Still trying to nurse the wounded arm from the train ride, Nesmine couldn't help but be attracted to the 'weapon' sign. She couldn't read it, but the picture looked nice. "I'mma get me one of those!" She said as she rushed inside. Usually Nesmine didn't have any money of any sort, but she had just gotten paid to mow some lady's lawn. Pitiful work for a girl like her, or so she believed, but she wanted food and weapons so she could take on some better work.
Nesmine walked straight up to the man behind the counter and pointed. "You sell weapons, right?" She asked, giving him a blank stare. "What would you say would be the best kind of weapon for bashing some dude's head in? You are the weapons master right?" She continued, furthering the fact that something wasn't right about this girl. She knew no courtesy, and couldn't even read the signs all around her.

Kotaro looked up as a girl rushed up to the counter asking if he sold weapons. He raised an eyebrow. Didn't she see the sign. He shrugged and gave her a smile. "Yeah, I sell weapons. Tons of them." He chuckled. This was interesting. "Well, to bash someones head in, I would say a hammer, mace, or staff." He ignored her lack of courtasy. "Now is there anything specific?"

"Well," Nesmine thought for a moment, "specific... I guess the heavier the better. I don't want it to have any teddy bears on it, nothin' stupid like that. Just find me something that says 'I mean business', and I don't want it engraved." She said, now smiling at her peculiar request. She then happily placed ten dollars on the counter as if they were made of gold. "Just get me whut ever I can buy with that."
The girl nodded to herself, then looked to the man behind the counter. "Well?" Something was definitely wrong, as the girl seemed to have no idea that ten dollars was not a very high amount. She didn't even seem to understand how the process worked.

Kotaro nodded as she explained what she wanted. Seemed pretty basic, had plenty of war hammers and maces. "Yeah I guess I can get you something." He said as she placed ten dollars in front of him on the counter. He raised an eyebrow at her. She was interesting. Or just stupid. Or both. But he just smiled. "Well, this won't get you much, but I can give you something good." He said pointing at a small war hammer on the wall. "That's what you can get."

"I guess that'll do..." Nesmine answered, obviously upset that the bill was worth less than she first assumed. "Well, you got to tell me, how much are the others worth? Do I need another one of those to get that large one behind you?" She asked, noting the size difference. " You know, 'cause the one over there seems a bit small... hey wait! You're not trying to rip me off are you?" Nesmine asked again, seemingly full of strange and stupid questions. "How much is that green piece of paper worth anyway?" She asked, this time defeated. She really didn't know the worth of the weapons, let alone the worth of the bill she had placed on the counter.

Kotaro shook his head as he listened to her complain. She was really strange. She didn't know the cost of the weapons, or even the value of the money she was using. "The one behind me is $100. To be honest the one I was selling you is actually $50, but I decided to let the price slide." He smiled. "Weapons cost a lot, even the small ones. This 'green piece of paper is a $10 dollar bill. I have nothing that cheap, but I was going to sell you that."

Nesmine couldn't help but frown, she was definitely embarrassed. "...Thanks, I had no idea." She admitted, "Well, I'll pay you the ten dollars now for that little one, and when I get the money, I'll pay you back twice the original price, considering you're doing me a favor."
Eventually she smiled. "You know, you're not half bad, willing to give me a deal like that, when you don't even know me. You're pretty kind." Nesmine complimented, now grateful for the fact that the shopkeeper didn't throw her out of his shop at the first realization that she didn't have much money. "You see, I'm uh... just not from around here..."

Kotaro smiled and took the money. "Don't bother, you can take it just for the ten. No need to pay me any more." He placed the money on the register and walked to the hammer, picking it off the wall and holding it out for her.
He smiled. "I'm not like most people who own stores, I'm not very greedy." He shrugged. "well, welcome to Central. I'm Kotaro."

"The name's Nesmine, and thanks Kotaro... I guess I owe you one." The girl mumbled as she grabbed her new weapon. "No you're not greedy... how do you manage? From whut I've seen, people are greedy everywhere. The only way to survive is to take from others." She said, as if reciting from some grim rule book. "Maybe you've got work for me?" Nesmine asked, hoping to find something better to do than chasing around dirty work. "I happen to be pretty tough, and work at a fair price... really fair price." She said, remembering how she must've been ripped off from her last mercenary job, as the man only gave her two of those funny green bills.

"A pleasure to meet youNesmine." He said letting her take the weapon. "To make up for my easiness, I do odd jobs. Just quick things I do when strap for cash." He smiled. "People take from others because its a primal instinct, survival of the fittest. They can't help it." He raised an eyebrow. "Work?" He wondered what she meant. "Well, I could use some help around the store I guess."

"Alright, do you have a place for me to stay?" Inquired the young girl with a smile. "Just sayin, 'cause I'm sick of living on the street, darn kids keep poking me when I'm asleep. I hate kids." Nesmine said shuddering. "If you do, then I work for free. Sound fair to you?" She asked, not even bothering to ask what kind of work she would be doing. It was apparent that she did not care, whether she'd be a gun for hire, or a janitor. "Just have to find some kind of work... instinct... what's an instinct?" Nesmine either just learned the English language, or had some serious memory problems, for she couldn't even recall the basics.

Kotaro raised an eyebrow. "Well, I do have extra rooms. Place is too big for its own good." He chuckled. "I guess that's a fair compromise. I'll let you live here for your work." He smiled. "You can have the upstairs room." When she asked about an instinct he almost collapsed. "Well.....I'll show you." He said tossig a box at herl

"Thanks! What kind of work should I do, should I start patrolling for enemies? Wrestle a few dirty urchins? Maybe you have a grudge against some dude?" Quickly moving, Nesmine caught the box, and promptly looked inside it. "There's nothin in here, what are you trying to tell me? Is this some kind of joke?" She asked, thoroughly confused. "This doesn't make any sense... no wait! I get it! It's metaforacal? Isn't it? No wait, that wasn't the word for it..."

"Its instinct." He said taking the box. "Its something you unconsciously do. You dodged and caught the box so nothing would injure you." He smiled. "Just thought it would be easier with an example." He shook his head. "This store isn't really full of trouble." He shrugged. "For now, why don't you get a look at your room. I don't really have anything that needs done." He stacked the boxes. "So get comfortable."
