Official Name: Nesmine
Nicknames: Nessie
Age: Unknown, but the girl looks to be about 17.
Gender: Female
Race: Human/Water Dragon, Chimera
Working Status: Nesmine is just a civilian, but works as a mercenary when the time calls for it.
Alignment: Nesmine is nuetral, and doesn't really care what others think.
(Working on pic)
Appearance: Nesmine is a rather strange, rather tall woman that could hardly be called 'lady'. She stands about 6"5, is rather thin, weighing only 110 lbs, and is rather lanky in appearance. She has short a-line cut blue hair (yes I know, how odd), and bright green eyes that stand out against her pale skin. Nesmine wears simple, blue tight jeans and a long grey t-shirt. Stashed around her shirt and pants are belts with random nick-nacks and knives that she keeps. On top of all that, she has a short half sweater that barely covers her shoulder-line, and thick black boots.
Defining Features/ Disabilities: Both of Nesmine's ears have slight tips to the edges (not because she's an elf), and her eyes tend to have a low glow in the dark because of her chimera features. (Nesmine was a human that was experimented on, combining her with an Australian Water Dragon (Physignathus lesueurii). Despite the fact that she is a chimera, there are very few features that gives hints to others that she is anything but human.
Goals/Ambitions: Nesmine has little care for anything around her, shrugging of anyone as just an annoyance. Secretly she does in-fact want to know who she is, and where she's from, but she doesn't like others to know her business.
History: Nesmine used to be known just as Miné, and she lived on the edge of Dublith. Both Nesmine and her sister were studying alchemy for their own saftey, until they were put into the city orphanage. Having no parents left (both died in the war of Ishval), an old man (Garunce) took her and her sister (Nessuné) in, and eventually saw fit that he owned them and had the right to do as he pleased.
He turned Nesmine into a chimera, an extremely painful process for the young child, but as he began to experiment on the sister, Nesmine made a lunge, nearly killing the man with a scalpel she had stolen (keeping Nessuné unharmed). The local police broke in, having heard the commotion, taking the man into custody, the sister to safety, and Nesmine to an experimental center on the outskirts of East city. Nesmine soon woke up, breaking out of the room she was in with her new-found strength, and escaping into the desert through one of the center's windows.
In the desert Nesmine wandered, now delusional and lost. She had blocked out all memories of her painful life before the accident, and is still unable to recall anything but flashes. Eventually she found Liore, where Ana helped her regain consciousness and sanity within a two weeks stay. From Liore, Nesmine heard about central city, and decided to head there to find work.
Personality: Nesmine is nonchalant, uncaring, and rude at first appearance, but only because she doesn't want to be seen as naive. Nesmine assumes the worst of people to stay safe, but once she calls you friend, she is loyal, and at times kind. Nesmine has a strange sense of honor, having never broken a promise, or harmed a child. Although she hides it well, she craves the idea of belonging to something important, and eventually does want friends of her own.
Weapons and Tools: Nesmine has no weapons at the moment, nothing spare her fists. When she can, she likes to use a mace or large sword.
Friends/Family: Nesmine doesn't remember, but she has a sister, Nessuné.
RP Sample: "Sand, sand, and sand..." Nesmine mumbled, as the heat from the desert closed in around her. She had been walking for days, hoping to find Central. "Oh look... more sand." She said, chuckling with irony. The man had told her to take the train to central, but she didn't have any money. He didn't have any money ether, but she had to shake her fist at him just to make sure. So here she was, following the tracks, hoping to maybe hitch a ride if it drove by.
Life wasn't exactly fair, Nesmine had no prior knowledge of this area, but she did have a map. The real problem was that she just couldn't make out the tiny symbols. "S@!t... this doesn't make any sense." Nesmine mubled, trying to make out the distance that was left between her and the city.
Hearing a noise behind her, Nesmine turned to see the train coming. "Well, it's about f@!%ing time!!" She hollered, preparing to grab the train as it drove by. Not wasting a second, she grabbed the edge of the railing from the last car. "OOOWW! That f&@!ng hurts!" She screamed. Nesmine had grabbed the train rail, which was moving far too fast for an average human to grab without harm, and dislocated her arm.
Almost crying, she pushed the arm back into place and laid back for an easy ride. "Well that was quite a load..." She mumbled before letting sleep take her.
Additional Information: Nesmine loves fish, and will do just about anything for it. Nesmine is also tortured by a strange entity called Wicked, which she often sees when she become's delusional. Nesmine has no memories prior to waking up alone in a desert, she can't read, and has barely adjusted to speaking English. Nessie also curses from time to time, but Yen blots it out.
