Official Name: Barry
Nicknames: Barry the Chopper, Barry the Butcher, Number 66
Age: Despite all of my research, I can't seem to find his real age, though he looks to be 25 to 32
Gender: Male
Race: Amestrian (Caucasian, Human)
Alignment: Evil
(If you have a picture to display, put it right here!)
Appearance: Before Barry the chopper became number 66, an experimental gigantic suit of armor, Barry as a tall pale man who was rather lanky in appearance. He had short blonde hair, with light brown colors along the back of his neck, and blue eyes (blue or silver, it's hard to tell). Despite being a man, Barry had softer features than that of most men, allowing him to imitate a female voice, and even disguise himself well to fool people he hunted. After he was subjected to the experiments of lab 5, Barry's soul then resided in a large suit of armor, only slightly shorter and bulkier than Alphonse's suit. A stranger addition to the suit of armor would be the headpiece, which resembles the skull of a dead creature more than an actual helmet.
Defining Features/ Disabilities: Barry is psychotic to the point that he has and will never feel sorrow for his crimes, seeing them more as a reason to exist. Because of his psychotic impulses, Barry is unable to plan ahead (not even in battle strategies) or reason properly unless there is a chance that he may get to slaughter others.
Goals/Ambitions: Barry is driven to kill, seeing it more as an art and a purpose than anything else. He will take any side in hopes of butchering more people.
History: Considering this man's pathetic wit and low strength, Barry has come a long way from being a psychotic murderer to an unstoppable suit of armor. His mentality is virtually unchanged, as he still feels the same as when he lived as a human in central (he may still be considered to be human, but let's face it, he's a giant suit of armor with an evil soul), stating that he needs no 'proof of his life', that he is a killer, and that is his purpose, the meaning of his existence.
The start of his rampage began with the murder of his own wife, then pretending to be a woman to find easier targets. He is sent to jail, and supposedly given the death sentence, but instead held for secret military testing in lab 5 where he becomes number 66. After he'd escaped from lab 5 during his encounter with Al, he began to murder Ishbalan people for a mercenary group until he is destroyed by Scar. (Obviously this is based off of the 2003 anime, as the manga keeps him around longer, and I have not seen brotherhood.)
Personality: Despite Barry's ability to cleverly disguise himself (when he was a man), Barry was never known for intelligence, and is often easily tricked, confused, and stumped. He is easily frustrated with simple problems, and always believes that the best course of action is murder without remorse. Even after his soul is placed within the suit of armor, his disposition doesn't change. His is still obsessed with cutting his victums apart, limb by limb.
Weapons and Tools: Barry still uses the same cleaver that he used to butcher meat, only now he butchers people. Not much about his attack strategy changed after he inherited the suit of armor for a body.
Friends/Family: Barry feels no need for companionship, as the only pleasure he exacts is from dying prey. He kidnaps Winry Rockbell and Edward Elric, attempting to murder them both before he is defeated by Edward and discovered by Alphonse Elric and the military. When he meets Alphonse again in battle, he sees him as 'interesting' and manipulates Alphonse in a twisted battle of manic wits.
RP Sample: (Just so everyone knows, this is after Barry received his suit of armor, but before lab 5 was exposed. This sample takes place in the lab.) Barry slowly sharpened his usual carving knife, having nothing else to do. He could not leave this place, this old, decrepit, and dusty old place. Bored, he stood up, carrying his knife with a swinging motion as he began to pace back and forth, slouching as if it was actually hard to move his body. In fact, it was an easy task, as he felt nothing anymore, thanks to the suit of armor that his soul now resides in. Empty, devoid, one could question if this being truly was alive at all.
As his body did not truly belong to himself, not the original shell he was made in, he had been given a new name, number 66. Perhaps an unlucky coincidence for most, Barry did not care, he mostly didn't notice. All that pestered his conscience was the silence in the room, the only noise being the echoes of his movement.
Nothing, nothing to kill, nothing to destroy, tear apart, riddle with fear and agony. The silence began to ebb away at the killers mind, until he heard scampering nearby. Eager, he raced to the area of the noise, hoping to disassemble some unsuspecting explorer. To his dismay, he only found a mouse, picking over the lost crumbs of some disheveled experiment.
"Ehh?! Y-yes!" He whimpered, unsure of this creatures worth. Deeming it satisfying, he smacked his cleaver on the ground, missing the rodent by mere centimeters. "W-wait!!" He cried, now desperate for some kind of kill, what was left of his senses tingled from excitement of the premonition of blood.
The small gray mouse scurried away to safety within a small crack in the wall, leaving the hollow killer to despair. "No! N-no!! Get back here! Augh! Heh, s-silly creature.... ahh so small. I-It wouldn't last long... come back!" Crouching low, he attempted to carve the crack to a larger size, but his work was completely futile.
"No... NO!! N-next time, it'll be pieces! I'll see you next time and chop you to bits!! Hwahh! Ahh! AHAHAHA!! Uhh..." Slowly ending his mental rampage, he stood up reluctantly, allowing his carving knife to drag. The building fell silent once more, it must be night, or perhaps morning, he could not tell.
Additional Information: Barry seems to enjoy when his prey are tougher, as he likes to 'break' their minds, draining all hope of survival from them as he works quickly to mutilate them. His favorite type of murder for his serial killing is generally blonde women.
