Official Name: Nessuné Adraste
Nicknames: Nessie, Plaster Hands, The Porcelain Dragon.
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: Amestrian
Working Status: Nessuné runs three workshops for pottery, often using porcelain as her medium. She is very successful, as her porcelain vases were a big hit for modern styles in homes, and she often crafts custom made dolls for rich families. For a long time, she ran a doll line that resembled her sister, Miné Adraste, hoping that one of the dolls might bring back her sister, but with no success.
Alignment: Good, Nessuné is very kind and loving.
(Working on pic.)
Appearance: Nessuné stands about 5'10", and weighs 124 lbs. She has a very dainty appearance, and little muscle definition as most of her work involves gentle movements from her hands. She has long brown hair that reaches just to the midsection of her spine, and soft green eyes. She tends to dress in light colors, usually pastel purples and blues, and enjoys wearing summer dresses when the temperature allows it.
Defining Features/ Disabilities: Nessuné is left handed, as she broke her right arm when she was little, and the damage was so extensive that she learned to use her left arm to compensate. In time, her left arm became her natural favorite, and she uses it today to fine detail her work.
Goals/Ambitions: Nessuné used to be determined in finding her sister, ignoring the military's reports on how she was shot in the head. She searched for many years of her life, only to give up and settle down with her pottery work. She now aims for a peaceful life with her hobby, trying to change the world for the better through simple kindness.
History: Nessuné lived with her sister Miné in Dublith, where they were studying alchemy to protect themselves, as their parents had died in the war of Ishval. After a while, they were taken in by an old man named Garunce, who was looking for a set of orphans for his chimerical research. He nearly killed Miné, and turned her into a chimera, with Nessuné hiding in the other room (who didn't see the flash of light, she only heard the gunshot), but was arrested before he could come for Nessuné.
After the military stepped in, Nessuné was placed in a nicer orphanage in Central, and was told that her sister died due to a shot in the head. She didn't want to believe them, so she started a search, selling small dolls she made at cheap prices, hoping that the dolls that resembled her sister would help the others recognize her missing sibling and help to bring her home.
Her endeavor to find her sister failed, however, people came to love the adorable dolls, and the small vases, and Nessuné quickly made a name for herself in the industry. Her work became quite popular, and she was hired at fourteen to work a pottery line, and given enough money to start her own small business. At fifteen, she quit, and began to travel, setting up a total of three workshops over spread locations. She studied ice alchemy along the way, to further her protection without the use of a gun or any other kind of lethal weapon.
Nessuné still works through her workshops, occasionally selling items in large quantities to certain individuals. Now she takes it easy, instead of working night and day to fill orders, and enjoys a quiet lifestyle in her hometown Dublith. She doesn't seek out trouble, and prefers to keep things quiet, using her ice alchemy to interrupt any kind of trouble she sees. Nessuné prefers to live life as a pacifist, and hopes that others learn from her example.
Personality: Nessuné is a pacifist, and believes that all life has a right to live, even the man that supposedly killed her sister (who wasn't killed for his crimes, and still lives in Dublith). She is kind and loving, and adores children, and often hangs around the orphanage in the area, giving little dolls and jewelry to the children. She can at times become rude at the mention of her sister, as she tries to forget she existed, as there is no way to bring her back, and feels like the past can'not be altered.
Weapons and Tools: Nessuné uses her ice alchemy masterfully, but is handicapped, as she never met a true master to teach her how to fight. She generally keeps a large bottle of water handy, and tends to use it to freeze her enemies feet in place when necessary. She earned her name 'The Porcelain Dragon' from her unique crafting skills, and an event where she drank water from her water bottle, and spat it in the face of an ex boyfriend, freezing it when it landed on his face.
Friends/Family: Nessuné's only living relative is Miné, who believes that her name is Nesmine. Nessuné does not think that Miné survived their run in with their adopted father, and has given up on finding her.
RP Sample: Nessuné looked out her window, she could hear the screams of children at play again. It was still a question to her, why they scream when they play, but it didn't matter. At least they were having fun. Nessuné couldn't help but think back to her sister, Miné, who would stand there, correcting her. "You don't need to scream, I know you're having fun, but it's rather loud." Miné would say in her proper voice. "It's fun!!" Nessuné would scream in response, ignoring her sister's words.
Biting her lip, the younger sister looked away from the window, shaking off the memory. Her older sister had always been looking out for the two of them, and that was why she died. At least Garunce had changed, he came to apologize to her as soon as he left jail. Perhaps religion could save a man, and change him for the better (or so Nessuné believed). She wasn't about to get mad at him, as he was different. Now he helped the orphanage, and helped the community grow. Things were much better now, and Nessuné was grateful.
She returned her attention to the pottery vase she had been working on, it had finished baking and cooling, and now she was ready to paint it. Nessuné gracefully moved her hands about the vase, stroking blue markings about the sides, painting three delicate dragons along the middle. "There!" She exclaimed, setting the pot aside. She'd return to wrap it later, as it was ready for sale.
Additional Information: Despite Nessuné's loving characteristics, she becomes quite sad at the mention of her sister, and often erases any objects that hint at her sister's life. She believes that the search is over, and that she is dead, so enough is enough.
